Local charity receives donation from York Builders Association

The York Builders Association teamed up with Hively Landscapes and ForSight Vision to raise funds for the non-profit organization during the Association’s annual Home & Garden Show.

Contractors designed and constructed potting benches, which were raffled off at the end of the event. There were eight winners of the benches and over $1,600 was raised to benefit ForSight Vision. Their programs serve children and adults with vision impairments, including pre-school vision testing and employment for the blind.

Special thanks and recognition to the members of the York Builders Association who donated their time and talents to the success of the fundraiser:

Ted Ventre of Hively Landscapes, Barry Strine of Strine’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Leo Deller in partnership with John H. Myers & Son, Phil Trump of Trump Lawn & Land Company, Paul Deller of Red Oak Remodeling; students at York County School of Technology, and George Deller of Jensco Construction.
